installing wuftp on fedora core 5

Hi everyone,

I am running fedora core 5 as a virtual machine on vmware. The install file
says I need to edit 3 different files to build the program. As I have never
messed with configuration files such as these, I am quite lost. If anyone
could give me advice or point me in the right direction for how to go about
editing these files to get this build to work, it would be most appreciated.
Also, I am a "linux noob" so even the most basic things might be difficult
for me.
